Spotted Horse

Spotted Horse in reds & oranges in oil paint. 3" x 5" image on a 5" x 7" canvas greeting card.

Braided

SOLD! (9/03/2011) Braided will make the purchaser's horse-loving granddaughter a great gift! This is a portrait of my Tennessee Walking Horse, Roxie. She makes a great subject for painting. I often braid her hair and loved the contrast between her braided mane and the braided halter.

Toodles

Toodles is a small oil painting, 8" x 8", on gallery-wrapped canvas. The model for Toodles was a beautiful long-haired, sassy cat, seen in Texas.

Max in a Bag

This was done very quickly & in response to a challenge on Daily Paint Works . This is Max, our newest member of the family, one half St. Bernard & one half ? I actually put him in a party bag & he didn't seem to mind at all, but he wanted to chew it up afterwards. oil on gallery-wrapped canvas, 8" x 8"

Pumpkin Basking

My sister's cat, Pumpkin, basking in the sunlight. This image shot blue with my digital camera, but the light on the left is actually warm white-yellows. oil painting on studio-wrapped canvas, 8" x 10"). Toodles can be purchased for $85.
